Looking at other people's jewelry collections is so fascinating to me. I guess it comes from playing inside my mother's jewelry box as a child. Style Inspiration: Joy Denalane

The elements of that elusive thing called style are open secrets such as knowing your body and what shapes work best for you, making friends with a tailor, being comfortable in your own skin, and my favorite, using accessories to accent your best features, detract from your flaws, and show the world a little about you before you even say a word. Some say you must be born with it, but I believe it can be learned. I'm inspired by women who appear effortlessly chic and I get so much inspiration from fabulous examples of individuality and self expression. First up is the German soul songstress, Joy Denalane, who has a glorious mane and a wicked retro-urban sense of style.
